BleachView Review
Hakka no Togame is one that should be in line with the most powerful of bankais. Many questioned the nature of how it works as the shikai can already execute absolute zero. Almost everyone probably thought there couldn't be anything better that Kubo can think of. When Hakka no Togame was revealed, most of the reaction was that it was absolute zero of greater coverage. In Bleach Wikia, it was initially described as a deep freeze before further updated. After thinking of a uniqueness about what the bankai can do, I thought its power has something to do with speed - the amount of time for the deathly temperature to consume the victim. This can lead a cold shock syndrome if one may consider. That sudden decrease in temperature causing massive shock and deliver considerable stress to bodily functions. Although the shikai's absolute zero quickly freezes anything, it must have only affected the surface and the cold gradually eats up the unfortunate target. As Nodt had a moment to think and recover himself from the shikai's cold embrace. Upon shrouded by the bankai's cold mist, As Nodt only had a brief nostalgia of his own fear further proving Hakka no Togame's difference in power. Take note also that once Rukia is in place to unleash Hakka no Togame, it will be almost impossible to evade. In exchange for the splendor of the bankai, Rukia is left vulnerable for any further attacks and requires time to recover as she is also left frozen. Needless to mention, another factor for its power is reiatsu. We all know immense reiatsu is required to unleash a bankai. Absolute zero, in a more scientific and realistic view, is the coldest temperature known to man. This makes the temperature only theoretical as there could be something colder left undiscovered. Bleach as fictional as it is steps beyond the scientific point. Could it be that Hakka no Togame surpassed absolute zero or was it absolute zero plus a reiatsu that defined the difference. If it is the latter, then Rukia will have to excel in generating reiatsu and be fit enough to sustain it. Besides, a shinigami doesn't need to have a body like Kenpachi to obtain tremendous amount of reiatsu. One thing was clear though, Rukia surpassed As Nodt's level as his corpse crumbled away.

Ability
Hakka no Togame increases the area of influence of Rukia's ability to reach the temperature of absolute zero. Upon release, a pillar of cold mist rises up into the air from where Rukia is and covers a wide area in her vicinity. Anything within the area of influence of the mist is frozen. Once frozen solid, victims crumble away within seconds. Physical contact with Rukia herself causes other people to begin freezing solid because of how cold she is. While it is a powerful Bankai, it is also a difficult one, as the slightest mistake could kill Rukia. Because Rukia is physically affected along with everything else in her vicinity, the amount of time she can use her Bankai appears severely limited, as prolonged use can potentially cause her damage, so she must thaw slowly when leaving this state, otherwise she would risk damaging herself.
